I took it in to have the dealership look at them because the vision from them was rubbish. I based this on previous Audi's I've had and also my Dad has an A3 Sportback 2.0TDI black edition with the same headlights. After driving his it was like night and day compared to mine. Anyway the garage put mine on the machine and said there was no problem, they even took me into the workshop and showed me on the machine. I still wasn't happy so they had another RS3 on the forecourt (a new one) so I went out on mine first and then took the other one out to see if there was any difference with the mechanic with me. There wasn't but the mechanic agreed they were both crap so they took it back into the workshop and adjusted them up as much as they could. They are a little bit better now but still crap compared to previous Audi's. Disappointing is a word that springs to mind.
indeed they are very week, about 40% of the output of my R32, I have wondered if they have been reduced in power because so many people complain about being blinded by HiD lights, i used to get flashed all the time in the R32, I don't in the RS3

They need a bit of working and glaze very easily, especially in the cold.

Sorry I know I'm going to sound like a broken record here... Are they not the same brakes as TTRS?

They are the same but the TTrs has a layer of harmony hair spray on the back of the pads to stop the squeak

well at least it worked !

more gripes about the RS 3 .... the fuel consumption is also noticably worse than the TTRS, to be expected obviously as its heavier ...

It does look awesome though

Cant help but have initial thoughts that the TTRS is the faster car ... pains me to say it as its so gay

This is taking this off the OP's original topic somewhat but wait till you have put 1500 miles on it; i push mine pretty hard and my lifetime mpg so far is just over 25mpg.......and it is a damn site quicker than when it had 100 miles on it :sekret: :rocker:
