Mondeo ST220. Pipercross cold air induction kit, Mongoose exhaust, Dreamscience re-map. Probably running about 240bhp. Boring as hell to look at but brilliant to drive - never saw a single bad review of these. The Mongoose and induction kit made the V6 sound fantastic. I actually miss it sometimes despite having the RS4!

I miss my ST220 too Pete, brilliant car and the ST24 I had before it, real gems. Just seeing yours again brings it all back!
d9lek42 - it becomes a job in the end and you get loaded up with paperwork just like in any other job. Then you go to war which is no fun, believe me, although you do get a sense of purpose from it and then you have the accidents and fatalities which brings things into perspective. It's tiring though, mentally and physically but you get used to it and you are constantly learning as it will bite you if you let it.
RobM - my wife's MX-5 is what is making me look at the GT86/BRZ at the moment especially as I've just put my RS into medium term storage

In chronological order:
Sierra Sapphire 2l Ghia but full Cosworth replica. Took me 6 months to find the perfect example:

Then after 6 weeks of ownership somebody decided to plough into it when it was parked and wrote it off. All the photos above were taken after the accident.

Then a little while later:

5.7 litre Chevy small block V8 with Edelbrock manifold and other Edelbrock performance bits. Holley Carbs, and flame spitting side exhausts. Nearly melted a Renault 5 door once as I was overtaking it on the A2.

That made way for this. Great fun and still missed, one of my favourite cars to drive:

When the little 'un came along, that made way for this which I still own:

Still got this too:

This is what I sold to buy the RS;

A very rare limited edition Ducati 916 SPS. When I sold it earlier in the year it only had 5K miles on the clock and I only lost £1K over 10 years of ownership
Don't expect I'll see the same rate of depreciation on the Audi
My current toy collection is made up of items like this;

2.6m wingspan and powered be 111cc twin cylinder petrol lump
Although I can't claim to have quite as cool a job as TimDogg, I do pop up to north Wales quite often to snap people doing they day jobs;

Been up to Leuchars for a burns night and had a go on the Tornado sim - that was fun bit like a computer sim but the graphics were crap.
Shame there gonna close the place i last i heard.
The closest i'll ever get now is RIAT camping or waving to you guys from Rhosneiger beach
