New RS 3 Owner - Suzuka Grey

Post by HYFR » Fri Nov 30, 2012 10:53 am

The day has finally came

After 6 long months of waiting my car has finally arrived!

Optional Spec is:

Suzuka Grey
Alu styling pack
BOSE
Cruise
Light/Rain sensors

I have to say, it looks absolutely stunning!
The Alu pack makes the RS 3 so much more agreesive IMO and adds abit of class I think the Optics takes away
I also love the Alu strip on top of the door handles

The colour is amazing! Love it, much more dimension to it than Ibis.

Inside, its nice...BUT, the plastics are very much Audi of 2004

Iv only done 4 miles in it, so clearly can't comment vs. TT but this is my INITIAL reaction:

TTRS seems to be faster / more aggresive power delivery
RS 3 is more comfortable and quieter
Steering on the RS 3 appears more direct

Early days obviously

But I love it already

Very nice, mate.

What happened to the days of them giving you a quarter tank of juice to send you on your way, lol

The practicality of the 3 is excellent. It is a proper RS as you said.

The car loosens up so much with time, it'll be going great just when you're about to drop it back.

Changing the tyres makes a difference but you'll hardly be bothered with that.

Enjoy it.

Looks lovely

Doubt you will find it much different UK your 3 TRRSs thou

Rock hard suspension
Understeers like a rogue asteroid if you give it to much loud pedal
And it's a lot heavier

I still love mine thou :)

Like the colour, a bit different, but prefer the black optics to the alu pack :(

It's your car though and as long as you love it thats all that matters!

It will loosen up a lot, mine has nearly 4k on the clock now and is much better than when I got it, 3rd and 4th gears are my favourite ;)
