GruppeM alternative anyone...?

Post by RS4pete » Fri Nov 02, 2012 10:00 pm

I noticed the extra bit of oomph due to the colder air today.

We need a vid!!! Searched YouTube to no avail :(

I have had my non res valved for a year now fella,so I noticed a difference...so if you have not had the milly long maybe a good idea to keep the new intake kit off and see what you think after a couple of months...

Sent you a PM. I'll take one of the air thingys. I'm booked into MRC on Thursday for a remap so could really do with getting hold of it before then.

Well done Revolution!!

Just one thing, there is a screw hole on the side of the intake but I can't work out what it is for?

Actually, I have another question but I'll save to for tomorrow.

Ps, I haven't driven it yet other than turn the car around on the driveway, I can't go out as I'm home alone and the kids are asleep.
When I fired it up I couldn't hear any difference with my stock exhaust but I'm sure when I drive it in the morning I'll hear a difference and should defo hear it once the Tubi gets fitted on Thursday.

I am pretty sure you will notice the difference as you accelerate.. :biggrin2:

I take back what I said, you can certainly hear the roar under load!!

Certainly the kind of difference I was expecting.

Incidentally my air box flap was near solid, I'd be surprised if the little vacuum could have opened the flap. I couldn't notice the 5500 kick and I assume this was probably why.
