Ok, it's not quite there with the full black optics yet (still got to do the windows) but pretty close.

I'll post a picture from the front angle later so you can see it against the black grill.

not sure where you are based but the Wheel Specialist in Fareham nr Portsmouth is excellent. They have other branches but I have only used the Fareham one.

Near Newark, convinced now I've got the colour right, quite willing to take the wheels anywhere if I'm going to get a job that lasts, just need to get sorted before the gritters start spreading

When did you have yours done by them Mike? Were you completely happy with the finish? I have heard some shocking stories about this place but andre3000 has had his done there and is very happy. It's normally after the first 3 months when a quality is proven, no flacking or pitting.

I'm sure I replied to this morning but it looks like it has disappeared.
anyway, i had them done in March so about 8 months ago. I was happy with the finsh. I thought at one point I spotted a bit that hadnt been refurbed properly (possible poor prep work) but couldnt see it again so maybe it was just a bit of dirt.
The finish though was very good, no problems, and certainly no flaking ir pitting.
They did all 4 wheels in the same day too.

Promising feed back. Can't believe they can do a day turn around though. Most soak the wheels for at least a day in acid.
