I forgot to mention that the brake pedal is far too big and if you have a wide foot, you're going to have problems getting from the loud pedal to the stop pedal

Good question, I'm keen to hear views on this too.On Any Sunday wrote:Being as this is my first post, just want to say what a great forum this is, and the amount of info available is really appreciated, especially the pics!
Regarding this write up;
Thanks for taking the time to do the write up and the pics too. Sounds looked a good day out, shame i missed it... As i go the invite, but was too far to make it...
however I just wanted to ask; did the car you drive have the dynamic steering? If so how did it feel. Your help would be greatly appreciated as I'm unsure whether to spec the sport package (great deal) due to the reviews being negative towards the dynamic steering.
Thanks again.
Thanks for the response. Would you say that felt bad, like most of the reviews say?grizz wrote:Yes it did , In comfort it was terrible .Once in Dynamic it was much better ..
Advanced key = start/stop button, no advanced key = normal ignition key. I may be being a little slow, but why would you have a ignition key and a button?ecav wrote:Do you know if the car comes without a start / stop button if you don't select the advanced key option / keyless go?
This is what I understood toodoodlebug wrote:Advanced key = start/stop button, no advanced key = normal ignition key. Nope, it doesn't. Only comes with keyless go / advanced key. Very poor.ecav wrote:Do you know if the car comes without a start / stop button if you don't select the advanced key option / keyless go?
For me it is too quiet but then I am driving a non-res valved B7 with GruppeM. Even without the R8 when it had disappeared up the road and us chasing hard the cabin is so well insulated you can only really hear the V8 in the upper rev range. Even the sports exhaust versions didn't sound as meaty as a B7 with a non-res exhaust. It depends on what you want but coming from where I am now I'd want to put an aftermarket exhaust on it as soon as I got it sports exhaust or not. When going round the track and passing the pit straight they sounded great but then a B7 does as well. Sports exhaust is a must have as a starting point.535dboy wrote:Great write up P_G
Are you suggesting that the car without sports exhaust is just too quiet or the R8 drowned it out!?
I've got sports exhaust coming but just wondered
