Thanks!
That looks so much better! I've wanted to do my windows since I got the car but my brother in law works at Audi and got me a quote to change them straight away but it came to so much I never got round to doing it. I've sprayed the boot strip, I've changed the grille, the exhaust is still silver but that doesn't bother me.cthe only bit left for me is those darned windows.
Are you sure you haven't got it the wrong way round for pars and labour? I thought parts were a few hundred and labour was about £1000 alone?
Where did you have it done?

The price is the right way round Mike. I think it may have included the tinting of the windows as well. The garage I got the car from gets all the work done for me through their various contacts apart from servicings. The aftercare is amazing and more often than not the price is better than anyone else. For example I got a full bonnet spray, wheels skimmed and sprayed and a full mop of the car for £590. Audi quoted me nearly £500 just to do the bonnet.

The car looks sweet. So does this mean the silver side trim is going to be changed or not? : )

The silver window surround really bugs me and is the only thing I dont like about my car. If they can do it for me at that price then it'll be getting done.
What garage is it?

I've found the old quote i had done when I bought the car.
I have a list of part numbers and prices, but to cut to the chase it comes to £213 + VAT for the parts (that's both sides). Prices are over 2 years old though.
The thing that stopped me was that Audi wanted to charge 8 hours labour. Times that by the hourly rate; what is it now, £120 per hour? No thanks.

So if your garage only want a couple of hundred to fit its a no brainer.

I will find out who my guys farmed the car out to tomorrow and get back to you with the details. The price you have found again is that just for the side trims to be done as the quote that I put on was for front grille, both sides and the boot lip as well.

I'll do my best mate but just to give you an idea of things all this was done through the specialists that I bought the car from and they only do sales. All other work done to the car is by other garages, dealerships and companies they regularly deal with so it often comes in cheaper because of this relationship.

Will get you an answer as soon as possible though and message you on the forum.

Thanks mate.
The price was just for windows.
I had the boot lip done and back bumper sprayed at the same time. Ive done the grill already.
I had a quote for all of this but the price I quoted above was for just the window bit.

Ah okay that puts both prices in perspective then. Spoke to the guy who gets everything sorted for my car each time I drop it in for something and he is going to message me the body shops contact details tomorrow buddy.

Ill get some more pics up of mine if you want cos I've got a black badge at the front and no rings on the back for the proper stealth look.

Looks really nice there Mime although I can see why you wish to have the side silver trim removed to help if ish the look. Will you keep the mirrors silver or change them as well to black of carbon fibre to take it that last step?

At the moment there is no plan to change the mirrors, I quite like them and don't mind it being the only thing not black. If it looks wrong after the windows are done then I'd consider it but think it'll be fine.
It's hard to see in these pictures how wrong it looks because of the reflections from the sun but it looks even odder in real life.

You'll get there. Will message my guy again tomorrow for those details, he said he would send them to me when he gets back in work and that is tomorrow.

Have you smoked the back light cluster?

I didn't smoke them as such, I bought the smoked LED cluster. Also have smoke side repeaters instead of clear ones.
