Track day insurance.

Post by Noyjatat » Sat Sep 29, 2012 9:31 am

Where do you guys normally get your track day insurance from?

Do you use a different company for UK track events to Nurburgring?

I always went with Competition Car Insurance but there are a few around.
20k is the cut off and gets expensive after that. Expect at least 10% excess

I'm just in the process of doing the same.

Have been recommended Reis, Morris and HIC.

So far Reis have quoted £336..... just to do Spa  . (10% excess)
The ring is always separate "apparently".

Morris are returning with a quote monday morning.

Will do. I'm also getting them to quote for normal insurance (inc track days)... hopefully to work out cheaper.
