inherited wife's S4

Post by hope0001 » Tue Sep 18, 2012 8:06 pm

Hi

I've inherited my wife's S4 since she's bought a Range Rover Sport, so thought I'd join up and say hi.

She had the car for 6 years 2nd hand, and apart from the hi-fi its pretty much standard. Oh I've got a custom-made Longlife stainless steel exhaust and map on it as my mate won first prize to have a £1000 of that done on his car, but his is a lease car.... only cost me £300 of wine to say thank you.

My mate was a 2nd hand car sales man, and say the shade of red is know in the trade as "dog dick red", so its the shiny red colour to me..

Once I get back in work first job is to get the wheels redone and some decent suspension to stop the fecking thing trying to drive straight on at corners. man that front end is heavy - I'm a biker and non-handling cars are a no-no for me.

anyway, thanks you for having me.

Guy

Welcome.

£300 on wine :)

Try KWv3 coilovers, these are a good middle of the road coilover.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

FON.

Rule 1 (it's the Internet, nothing exists without a photo).

What could you get from your wife with half a Yorkie bar, a can of warm Stella and tickets to a Scunthorpe swingers club... on a Monday night... after a Scunthorpe United FC home game?
No matter where you go, there you are.

B6 S4 in brilliant 'dog helmet' red. Decent tyres would be my first mod, totally transformed mine going to Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 2 from the Dunlops it came with, was like driving a different car. 22mm RS4 rear roll bar also stiffens up the rear and increases front turn in, takes away some of the understeer

Yeah, but his car is faster than yours, and yours came with KW. If you had the choice it would have been PSS9s as that's what Grizz says is the best.
