Little petrolhead

Post by Nickyboy » Wed Sep 12, 2012 9:19 pm

Took my S4 in today for some new door cards as the leather looked slightly rippled to the other half.

I took my three year old daughter with me and told her we were dropping the S4 off for the night. Whilst in the dealer the tears started and we had to go outside for her to calm down. This is a girl that never cries with her dad and as I explained to her what was happening I was most surprised. Anyway after the tears stopped we had the following conversation:

Me: Poppy-May are you ok?
Pops: I don't like this A6 I like the S4
Me: Why?
Pops: Because it is slow Daddy

The thing the Mrs and I find the most intriguing / amusing is that I don't drive fast with her in the car. Anyhow, appears I have a young petrolhead as a daughter.

Excellent. Found out yesterday whilst bringing my Daughter home from school that the first car she can identify is an Audi :beerchug: She's pretty good at it as well, gets them right from either front or back and I haven't coached her at all, proud Dad :biggrin3:

It's hilarious what they come out with and how smart they are sometimes.

I'm often told by my boy that my RS6 is way faster than the Porsche next to us at the traffic lights. So far I've not let him down. I've brought all three of my kids up to become petrolheads, the oldest isn't so keen though. Ah well can't win them all.
