Invite for preview drive

Post by 535dboy » Tue Sep 11, 2012 8:25 pm

I have just been invited and accepted a preview drive in October for the new RS4

Had a choice of Oulton Park or Millbrook Proving Ground

I have chosen the latter as rather easier for me to get to

Anybody else had yet?

Ha ha, thought it may have come to prospectives, eg B7 drivers as well as those that have put money down

I love it.....it will be good......it will be as quick if not slighty quicker than a B7.

Better technology...etc etc..

Of course the B7 is a great motor...although IMO youve gotta move with the times....

Dont forget the global economic climate was totally different when the B7 RS4 was about.....people had money...not now..so the B8 RS4 may be a slow seller???

I think it will sell well although not in the numbers the B7 did...that is a good thing IMO....more exclusive like the B5.

Most people will be singing it praises in a couple of years time when its established itself.....i fancy trying one maybe next year??......but im enjoying V10 power too much at the minute!!!!!!!!

I think with all the options available visually for the B8 theres going to be some great colour combos.

No carbon will build up in the b8,you need to wring its neck if you dont want a focus St to whipe its arse!

Hmm people slated the b7 engine at first, but said the chassis dynamics were more than enough to compensate against tuned b5s,but now your faced with the same engine pretty much but worse handling! The cabin and gearbox are im sure going to be lovely but does it do its job overall? We will see.....

Mine's clean thanks.

What's new about the B8 to say we won't be having the same conversation again.
