General advise when buying

Looking at purchasing one soon, what things do I need to be aware of when buying, also I've been told that I can't use it to tow as I need to tow a box trailer that weighs 1650-2600kg, also that they go through turbos, drive shafts and suspension. Any info on these would be greatfull

Not type approved for towing so technically illegal.
IIRC the gearbox doesn't have enough cooling.
