LRC-100 & Origin B2, Laser and GPS Options

Post by Tomson » Thu Aug 05, 2004 8:59 am

Hi All,

I have just managed to get a brand new LRC-100 for £200.00 which I thought was a bit of a bargain.

Now I want to purchase the Origin B2 systems to work with the laser jammer.

I have some questions.

The Origin B2 will work with the LRC-100 ? What do I need to connect them ? any info on connecting them together would be great.

Does anyone on the Forum have this set-up ?, how does it perform ?

People with LRC's, where do you mount them (especially relevant if you also have a RS4) ?

Same sgoes for the Origin ? (the centre console is not an option as the screen comes up there.)

Thanks for your help...

Also, I currently do not have an electric door on my Garage - if push came to shove - do you think I would need to get one fitted to stay right side of the law. Not that I give that much of a toss as I would not need to fit the above if I did and would drive a Smart car.

Was thinking about leaving a garage door remote in the car, jus in case I was stopped by the busies. Whilst I realise the LRC opens the garage dooe on approach for you, I thought I could say it was my back-up - might work..

Disclaimer : All the above is Bollocks I have four houses in different countries, all with double garages electric doors and I need the origin because I want to slow down aroung schools and know when I am driving in a charge zone.

RS6 here, but it may still be relevant. Mine is mounted immediately below the front number plate - peeking out from behind the centre-top diamond in the lower grill. I drilled and self-tapped into the aluminium cross member behind the bumper.

BTW, that piccy doesn't look like the narrow residential road with difficult parking you were telling us about! ;)
