Audi really are becoming expert at devaluing the RS brand ...

Look across most brands and most cars have a sportier look. I occasionally spot what I think is a decent motor and quickly realise its a 2.0D. How much sportier can you actually make cars look without looking ridiculous?

At a quick glance they do look similar.

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but theft is a sin.”
Elena

Given that the RS cars are "halo" models, then it is inevitable that there is some dilution into the lesser models...?
only a thought.

I doubt that Audi makes the RS cars just for the kudos - it's a commercial decision, pure and simple.

I'm sure it is but to have those particular wheels on the rest of the range before the halo car is even here and available; a bit poor. Now you are in the realms of speccing your RS4 to look like an S-line because they are available rather than the other way around like with the B5 and to a certain extent the B7 and also the C5 RS6 wheels.

Has anybody actually seen these rs4 wheels in the flesh?

I've seen them at Geneva, Goodwood and on FL Rs5 pace cars at Goodwood.

I don't entirely agree with the comments here but then I guess you would say "he would say that!"
