Thought the wife's car could do with a treat so dug out the polish and got stuck in.

What polish did you use mate? I've got some gtechniq stuff and I'm cutting and finishing later this month - by hand! No machine!
Yours has come out really well would be keen to know what you've applied.

Used the Meguiars 3 step system, paint cleaner then polish then Carnauba wax.
All applied with the DA machine.

I like the meguairs stuff (some of it) it's easy to use and you get good results from it. Top job - the DA is VERY forgiving with megs and the fact Audi/VAG paint is hard as nails helps too - gives a good shine - I've found black shows bloody everything and needs constant care though! I haven't moved my car in a week now as the roads are wet and I don't want to get it dirty again! Haha!brn7y wrote:Used the Meguiars 3 step system, paint cleaner then polish then Carnauba wax.

Parked it next to a brand new black 62 plate in Audi car park today and the new car had more swirl marks. Well chuffed!
