Over the moon is an understatement! This thing has so much usable power!
Quick question, I can't find anywhere to plug my iPhone in, should I have a cable of some sort?

Re: Delivered today!!!
You'll need to buy the cable if the car doesn't have one. AMI interface is in the top right hand corner of the glove box.

Yes, got a little shelf there along with a flap with a connection socket behind. Is this something that SHOULD be with the car? If so I'll ring up and ask for it!doodlebug wrote:You'll need to buy the cable if the car doesn't have one. AMI interface is in the top right hand corner of the glove box.

Re: Delivered today!!!
Yep, ask for it. It is an accessory (about £50), so it doesn't come with the car.
I asked for it up front as I knew it was an extra. It was supplied. I was supplied one for my RS6 too, again I asked up front.

Re: Delivered today!!!
I've had 3 Audis over the last couple of years and each Car (All from different dealers) has had two leads with the Car (USB & i-pod) Even my Golf came with both leads so have you checked everywhere if not I think you should be asking your dealer for a couple of complimentary ones after spending that sort of money on an Audi product that advertisers AMI usb and i-pod connection (how are you suppose to use it with out there leads)gilford wrote:Yes, got a little shelf there along with a flap with a connection socket behind. Re: Delivered today!!!
Just had a quick look though the RS3 & an old RS5 Brochure where AMI is std on the RS3 it was extra on the RS5 but states it includes 2 Leads (USB & i-Pod) so surely the RS3 should have them as std as well
Re: Delivered today!!!
Thanks, I'll phone them first thing tomorrow!'
Just reading up how to set the home lights etc, really love this car!

Leads are definitely an extra whether you spec the car with or without AMI.
Re: Delivered today!!!
Thanks lads, I'll ask the question this morning.
If I can't wangle one FOC I don't want to stump £50 from Audi if this does the exact same job -

Is this the latest cable? Does it charge the iPhone? Does it allow changing of playlists and tracks on the MMI with the iPhone?
Cheers!

Yep, that's the jobby. It'll do all the things the OEM cable will.
Audi supply a pair as above so you can use generic USB devices aswell.
