Stage 2 remap power peaks around 6700 RPM, same as stock. To push this up needs exhaust and optionally secondary cat bypass. MRCs recommended solution was Supersprint secondary cat bypass pipes and Milltek, then custom engine map and gearbox map to make most of area around 7000 RPM.

Hi catfood, :bigwave:
previous owner of my C6 RS6 sedan had a supersprint exhaust replacing the OEM exhaust- found it too 'boomy' inside with the windows up with the APR map for his liking and went back to standard OEM exhaust FWIW.

Having said that, i most likely will re-invent the wheel and will try an electronic secondary bypass cutout just ahead of the secondary cats.

I was going to have a go with the Supersprint cat bypass pipes. There's not much space under there to put switchable bypass valve. Also Supersprint to a mid pipe without mufflers, so you could run single box on each pipe. Now that would be boomy....

Thanks fella. With Admiral currently and I think they are quite receptive to mods but good to have a backup.

Looking at Admiral online and with no mods i am quoted £400. Adding an ECU mod (they have serveral options +5% +10% etc) and selecting +20% ECU power mod, turns my £400 into an unable to quote.
Obviously specific to each person - taking the above into account it is interesting that they have different brackets for ECU (or chip mods as they call it).

Not that im considering buying an RS6 ..... honest ;)

Fast and faster.

Have considered asking them? "For power estimates and plots, for Stage 2 and Stage 3 remaps, please email: info@mrctuning.com"
No matter where you go, there you are.

Isn't stage 1 standard off the shelf map and stage 2 is bespoke to the car.

As Bam says, speaking directly to the horse likely to be best plan.

Yes that's my understanding between stage 1 & 2, off the shelf vs custom.

I might call Admiral first though or wait until my renewal is out of the way in October.
