New S4 Avant ordered!

Had considered the B8 RS4 but cost was a little bit more than I wanted to pay and the performance doesn't seem too shabby on this.

Got a good deal on drive the deal after Finchley Road Audi screwed me around. Am expecting delivery in early November. Paint is estoril crystal blue and it's a black edition.

The wait is a killer!

Nice spec, very similar to mine except that I went for the black edition. I also considered waiting for the RS but couldn't warrant the extra cost - reckon it'll be awesome, mind.
I'm loving mine after 4 months of ownership and wouldn't consider anything else at the minute.

Very nice, not seen Estoril Crystal on the S4 yet, only on the S6 so far. Its disappointing Nogaro / Sprint / Sepang are now exclusive special order only colours on the S4!

Edited my post to say I too ordered the black edition! Seemed to make sense for the B&O and the other bits and bobs.

Bit nervous not having seen the colour in person but have seen a few pics on audizine an audiworld and it looks good. Hope it doesn't swirl too much. Having it detailed as soon as I get it.

Was the car already ordered or did you spec it? Have you been given a confirmed build week?

I have ordered an S4 Avant on July 30th and got build week week 47 3rd week of November, delivery 2 to 3 weeks later....

No confirmed date yet, but ordered exactly a month before you have and have been given a build date of 44 so that's roughly in keeping with what you have. When do the dates normally get confirmed?
