I tend to give it a good wash, when it is cold.

I wax the carbon bits and the paint work - underside of the bonnett as well. I then use some autoglym vinyl and rubber treatment on all the bits and pieces - plastics etc.

Takes some time and you are sure to cut your finger a couple of times, but results are pleasing on the eye.

thats good to hear mate,
but when u say a good wash,do mean spray it with water under there?
the car wash shops here they tend to do that with water diesel spray to clean there and under the car.
the result is fantastic, but i was told diesel is not good for the seals, rubber etc, what do guys think?

Just usual car wash stuff mate, soapy water and a sponge.

One of the great things about the RS is that most of it is covered up, so only need to clean the bits people see. I never recommend the high prssure washer thingies as far to harsh on rubbers and wash of oil etc etc
