Does anyone know if there are any dyno graphs posted on this site for a stage 1 tuned S4?
I have done a search but can't find any.
Alternatively, does anyone have a dyno graph that they could scan and upload onto here or email me?
Thanks....
RR Dyno Graphs
I can't scan the graph but I have:
Engine power: 246.3KW at 6178 RPM (190.8KW stock) (I think thats about 334 HP)
195.6KW measured power at the wheels.
480NM torque at 3532 RPM (A little heat soaked, had managed 505 in an earlier run) (405.1 stock)
This is with a Jabbasport remap which, overall, I am pretty pleased with.
This is just with
Remap
IK20's - do NOT get these, they are wrong. You want IK22's for a chipped car.
Drilled airbox.

So is the 400hp+ that gets quoted for ko4 conversions is at the flywheel?
How is this worked out?
Is it an educated guess?
What hp atw can someone expect with the stage 3 convesion ( ko4s and all rs4 ancillaries)?

Flywheel power is always calculated based on figures for transmission losses. However it is clear that RR operators rely on a 'fudge' factor to get the figure to what they expect. As you know, it is better to concentrate on 'at the wheels' measurements. However since this varies from car to car (choice and condition of tyres affect it), the tuners need to quote flywheel power.
The figures quoted for a conversion are always based on reality - a car that a tuner has done the mods to. Often that's the problem because it is often only based on that car, and should be treated as an optimistic figure.
