My mind is made up on this. In case of failure my box will be going to 517 trans. Audi will quote you 7k€ for a recon box, fitted.

Just fly over with the 'box, check it in excess baggage. The only problem will be hanging around 517trans, not the most intriguing part of the world, is it?
From what you said, there's a risk you could be found hung on the back of a hotel bathroom door, dropped trou, smiling.

NYC only a few miles down the road. I could easily kill some time there.
