Fuel light on and couldn'tbe bothered to fill up. Ended up beating D_K finally. Terrible photo, sorry.

A steady 60mph along the M4. Even though the fuel display said 0, I still couldn't get the full 61 litres in. It was 0 for quite a few miles as well.

Erm

No

That was over HALF my distance

I could easily get 50mpg if I reset the trip when I entered the M1 and took a picture 30miles later

Well you didn't. Think you'll have to accept that the new S4 is more fuel efficient and perhaps better it if you get in another. If I drove at 50-55 I'm sure I'd have beaten this but I didn't. We could talk all day about 'if' but the proof is above.
