So, RS246, what's your car drying weapon of choice?
Recommend a chamois, drying cloth or something else?

I've gone from synthetic chamois (of unknown brand) to synthetic cloth ('Meguiar's Water Magnet Drying Towel') but it's crappy: just doesn't suck up the water very well so I have to go over the the paintwork repeatedly. Last time I believe the Amazon reviews! http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0009IQZFM

Cheers Chunky. Googled the i4 site.chunky79 wrote:I have a drying towel from i4 detailing. Matt who runs the company is very helpful if you get intouch with him.
Might order a few things off there tonight, including the 'I4D Uber Yellow Premium Drying Towel in X-LARGE'. I'm guessing that's the one you mean.
Re: Please recommend me a chamois or drying cloth
You get a free chewing gum off him too!!!!! I got that towel but smaller, still dries the whole car but best get the x large.

Re: Please recommend me a chamois or drying cloth
alternatively you can use water -> 30 ppm filter - > 0ppm filter -> water to rinse. no need for chamois or a drying cloth. first rinse with normal water and then immediately, not letting to dry, filter-rinse. car then just dries leaving no marks

And you'll need a Metro Vac Air Force Blaster to get the water that collects behind the "chrome" fitments which dribble out causing those little streaks
Ex RS6 C6 Driver, gone but not forgotten.. The best car I have ever owned

Or try www.cleanyourcar.co.uk
They have been great to me, I had an issue where a wash mitt only lasted a few weeks and they sent me a new one when I made them aware of this. They seem to provide great customer service and I have used them for a while. Their own CYC towel is pretty good for the price.
