I do like a bit of bacon....but it's hard enough finding the time to do the two motors I have.

Think an A3 is bad, try an A6!!

A6! I would pay the polish guys down the road £10 to clean it

I must admit i agree with most of the things Hedgehog Dave has said...

I do look after my car....but i too want a wax/polish thats quick to do with good results...without breaking the bank and and my back.

I use Autoglym stuff...for body work...polish and wax.....wheel cleaner etc....and cheap as chips Turtle wax car shampoo to wash it.

As good as anything for me.

A car that has been detailed every six months or whatever...WILL NOT get hundreds more come trade in time...

Although i can appreciate the effort some of the detailing boys put in.....but i personally would maybe get a paint correction if car was getting on a bit and showing a few scratchs etc etc.

I did, a couple of weeks ago. All sat and a bit of sun morning to remove the wax and fettle the interior.

Re the products, there's a world of difference between AG and the other stuff mentioned above. Try it you'll see what I mean.

Keeping the wax topped up means the dirt doesn't stick and the bird crap/flies don't etch. That does tell come re-sale time. If you go through the lacquer your paint will be knackered.

I'm not OCD either but I do use a mop and 3M products.
I have just started using Autoglym HD wax which I got off Amazon for £32 or so and it's very impressive.
Mr. Hedgehog, you would find it very easy, I'd say 30 mins to put on and take off plus 10 mins going off time in between.
White is a b4startd though as it's hard to see the wax
