RS3 Dab Radio?

Just a quick question does the new RS3 have Dab radio? if not does anyone know how i can get it fitted or recommend any?

Will be adding an RS3 to the collection on 1/9/12

Nope, not available with RNSE, so would have to be aftermarket solution which will lack the integration. Frankly it's <beep>. I asked my dealer about the removal of FM and what the plan was....none was the answer. And RNSE is fitted to the halo car....

I had TV on my TTRS so was able to get the Digital stations that came with that but an expensive way to get the limited amount of stations it comes with.

I fitted a digital TV tuner with diversity aerials hidden in the A and C pillars - this also has DAB radio and although it's not interactive with the RNS-E buttons you get an optical eye and the remote is small enough.

The above appears to be digital TV, so you'd get the same radio channels as you get via freeview which isn't the same as DAB.

Yeah I saw that unit the Hazzy Days team had, but as I already had a TV tuner I just got this wired in for video in motion.

To be clear this is not a DAB Radio tuner, but a great substitute to get Digital radio working on your RNS-E

they are saying 2019 at the earliest for the switch over, but at this rate will be 2025 as most new cars still dont have DAB
