10p off per litre, no catch, ie two visits and two unlimited number of litres full tanks? Tbh I didn't think the forecourts even had that much margin in a litre of petrol nowdays

Yep, no limits on the fuel quantity at time of filling. Normally they do 5p/ltr vouchers but this time it was 10p  I believe you need to spend £50 in store or online to receive the vouchers.

The deals they have are a false economy unless you have a very big fuel tank. I am sad and worked it out.

I guess you guys with RS6's will benefit from this. I believe my S4 has a 61 litre tank and rounded down to 58 and worked out it wouldn't actually save me money.

Agree Nicky

My 75l tank was on fumes and I did actually need both bog roll and squash

So if I over paid by £17 on the bog roll and squash, I saved a true £20 at the pumps

How's this a false economy? I assume you mean if don't normally Shop there and therefore buy stuff just to get the vouchers? Aside from that I can't see that buying 70 odd litres of 99 at less than £1.30/ltr is a bad deal?

It's false economy for me, as the nearest tesco's pump is 20 miles away :)

E.g. The fairy at £14 you save 10p litre which for me is about £5.80 bringing the cost of the fairy down to £8.20. From when the deal started we could have got the same amount of fairy through another offer they had at £8. This was similar across most of the products that I would actually buy.

If you have an RS6 size tank then this is a good buy if not like most of people I see buying these products then getting into thier small hatch then it is a false economy. I hope this makes sense.

I was quite sad about it and was working it whilst in Tesco.

Yes I see what you mean if you are buying items specifically to get the deal but they can be bought for less than the saving on fuel. For me though we just have regular items set up on our weekly Shop and without knowing what the qualifying products are I receive these vouchers therefore I see it as a bonus. We would of bought the products anyway so it works well in my case.

Thought I would share anyway :)

i bought x4 lots of bog roll and x6 lots of Robinsons squash ... over priced yes, but when I got £37 of my fill up I think I came out on top

agree people with a Polo sized 35l tank which they fill half up are the idiots
