Dippy - and???

Thought it is useful to mention that Dippy ran his car with a standard chip and full Milltek before he returned to AmD a few weeks later to have the ECU mapped to the full Milltek setup.

Sorry to have to mention this but I think it puts it in perspective for those who weren't aware.

Golich,

The blue springs in the Forge DVs have made a big difference: No more hesitation and quicker response. I believe that the blue springs are about the same 'stiffness' as those in the latest Bosch DVs, so with the solid aluminium piston I am still confident that the Forge DVs are the best for my car.

Now that's interesting Dippy. I've still not got round to changing back to my Bosch units.

I wonder if Hyperboost can be contacted for a change of spring? Hhmm I may get in touch with AMD to see about that.

I agree with you Dippy on the reliablity of the piston type DV, it has got to be better than a diaphram type when the piston type fail.

Carps,

I wonder if you could email me those before and after shots of your B5 with the B6 alloys. I just want to see how off Road it looked before the suspension change.

I have the chance of the new 18inch wheels but cant yet afford the lowered suspension. Unless I get just the MTM lower springs from QST

cheers
