Axle Stand Help

Post by andre3k » Wed Jul 18, 2012 3:35 am

Prob a dumb question, but on a pair of axle stand does the rated carrying load refer to a single stand or the pair?

ie Ive seen a set rated 2T. Does that mean 2T on each stand or 2T across the pair?

Thanks folks

depends on the manufacturer.
Some quote for the pair, others for a single unit.

Always assume the rating is whatever is the lowest so I'd say assume per pair unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

Thanks much. As it happens that was the one I was looking it but thru Amazon.

Saves the guesswork when the description is as per the tooled-up website. Dunno why they don't all describe them that way.
