Watching this thread with interest as I’ve decided I need one too. I don't want anything cluttering up my dashboard though, is there any that are more discreet or could it be mounted out of sight?

Thanks, Adrian. There are loads about, I did a bit of searching yesterday but just got confused! The Laser Park Pro looks interesting though...

I guess the only issue you will have if whether they detect the mobile speed cameras. I'm guessing they don't.

Be careful, as I don't think they are legal to use. So if you get stopped and the nice policeman or policewoman spot's it they'll not be to happy with you.

They are legal so no worries there...

Amar, i had the Laser Park Pro a while back but it was a pain to fit on the 911 so i never got round to it and sold it... kicking myself now as i don't think you can get them anymore... Looking on snoopers website though it seems they now do something similar :)

The 3Zero from Snooper does apparently....

The laser park pro is a parking sensor which operates on the same band as the police mobile laser traps effectively 'jamming' them... Obviously this is not something you would want to do so it sends you an audible alert and disables it's self within a few seconds should it detect any such 'interference' ;-)

I've used the road angel professional connected with the aditional laser sensor for 3years+ with good results.it is rechargargable so no cable (unless battery is flat) connects via in built mobile phone sim card to their database so is always up to date, small dash mount which i cover over with a black cap when unit is not in use https://www.roadangelgroup.com/Connected.aspx

Watching with interest as I've been thinking I might get one of these also. Had a Snooper years ago in a CupraR and it worked well but was a pain to keep up to date with a pc connection, very fussy and then it just stopped. So not sure if the quality of these are great. Friend has a Road Angel and that also is poor build quality with the back light intermittently not working.
