IIRC pre-preg carbon has heat tolerance up to 150-200 degrees C before discolouring.
Yes, actually, I'd much prefer it if it all matched.

Is it possible to 'bake' the other stuff to discolour it?

Hi everyone,
Sorry for not getting back earlier but weve been flat out on our new website which is loooong overdue..!

Thanks for showing the interest in this product and fingers crossed I've answered all points raised.

P_G.....I wouldnt necessarily trade up or accross from a GruppeM as similar product with similar results.

Sonny....underside is pretty smooth but not carbon both sides (same as GruppeM) due to extra cost implication.

Madmonkee....induction noise is amazing indeed..!

Timster.....you will get the first one as promised ;-)

PaulRS4....FREE - Paul, you been taking those tablets again :bigblink:

Elevens....we worked on a similar idea to the GruppeM kit, the underside is more or less open so massive amount of air increase compared to std & we spent a lot of time on the MAF holder and we have the option of the smoothed forge intake hose and going to install a cold air field next and remove aux rad too.

sakimano.....Plan to test it on rollers as well as real world road testing, dyno is a good benchmark but BHP numbers never really impress us as its all about feel, mid range torque and throttle responce IMHO.
Air flap is still in place, were not expecting huge gains but as the B7 RS4 is getting older (and cheaper to buy & mod), weve been asked again and again for a less expensive alternative to other carbon kits on the market.

Yellow Carbon - something we are working on also, we have a specialist carbon Co. who has done some amazing work on our track impreza and we are waiting for him to start on the discoloured covers and the right hand side covers in carbon also...watch this space.

Phew, think thats most questions answered...

See you all on Sunday

Glenn I meant the actual design underneath i.e the moulding to overcome the heat from the exhaust manifold.

sorry Sonny

Nothing much we could do to insulate the carbon, but looking into getting a secondary heatshield made if need be.
