I'm going to _try_ and head over on Sunday afternoon (dad duties dependent), no food needed or owt. Think you chaps might need a n00b to balance out the numbers

If anyone's got those garden canvas shelter/gazebo things might be worth taking? just an idea, but could be useful for Marc to continue detailing if weather does the usual.

Sonny: weather is really weird atm, torrential rain followed by sunshine, rinse and repeat.

Been looking at the forecast and York weaather is different to Malton believe it or not. But on the whole cloudy, occasional sunshine with 20-30% chance of light showers. We'll arrange to pitch up around middday as well then. That'll give us a great chance to drive over the moors past Fylingdales and take in some great roads and better scenery rather than the direct route.

I have a 3x2m gazebo and a 4m2 tarpaulin with reinforced eyes I can stick in the boot as well for cover.

Iain suggested meeting him at Forfar for 0900 so we should be at the hotel for say 3 - 4pm maybe?
