Blimey! Thought my RS6+ was low mileage (9,800 miles when bought in March - 12,600 now) until I saw this thread! Go for it and enjoy!!

Re: DRC, so long as it is fitted to the car, it is pretty much a matter of 'when' and not 'if' it will go wrong, so the idea of it lasting 'forever' is plain unrealistic. Sorry to put a dampener on things! But on the plus side, the gearbox will be fresh and tight and ready for action for a fair few miles to come, so this will be one less cause for concern. But yeah, the DRC will be a constant source of anxiety, so I suggest ditching it at the first/next sign of trouble.

Apart from all of that, these cars are truly superb and one should not be put off by some minor(ish) niggles - which, once sorted, will result in the perfect, everyday, practical supercar (IMHO) - albeit slightly expensive to run..

But when u have to drive on the curbs on a daily basis because the roads arent wide enough, The wheels really get a beating unless the tyres are a reasonably high profile.
