The pics could be better for an RS6 at twice the price of a stock one. IMHO of course. No offense meant :)

I reckon that car is being sold at less than the cost of the mods alone. :(

Ouch. How long has he enjoyed it in its modified state? You'd be wanting a lot of pleasure for 30k..

I was going to make an offer on this at one point, but held off as another forum member was going to buy it (you know who you are).

This is exactly what I wanted to do to my C5, I just lost my nerve. I agree, better pictures are definitely needed if you're trying to sell a 10 year old modified car for £25k.

Sorry to be negative/realistc but I will be very surprised if he gets anywhere near that. Surely enough of us have had enough cars that we have modded to know that you just do not get back the money on mods, I sure as hell have. Well, that is what to expect, you can of course scrape some back but I personally think his price is unrealistic. Who knows, I may well be proven wrong.

All of that and the advert is utterly dire for what he is trying to sell. I write small novels for every car I sell and each one had sold almost instantly to the first buyer, some people puzzle me.

What that man says, but sometimes thats really difficult to come to terms with.

I think these days unmodified/unmolested 10 years plus old cars are worth more to the majority of people ..... or is that just me getting old :?

It's been enjoyed a fair bit. He drives it around the 'ring and it gets used. But it has been through a few drive shafts and one gearbox I know of, I assume these were put right by MRC.
It is a bargain, it's a true one-off car, MRC did this and it took a long time. Another thing to note, it is one thing to manualise one of these BUT this has a mountain of custom work - oil coolers, oversized front-mount intercooler, aux radiators, fuelling, intakes AND GT30s to make 778PS! I'd put up the dosh if it weren't manual.

Yes, the ad is <beep>.
No matter where you go, there you are.

just to note guys, i havent gone through any driveshafts. MRC did a couple when they were doing the work but they fitted different ones and have been fine.
