Poor respray on just bought car, advice pls

Post by Kiteral » Sun Jun 10, 2012 10:19 am

Hi

I bought a 2009 S4 B8 about ten days ago from an independent dealer, HPI clear etc had a good look round it.

Have just managed to give it a quick wash and have noticed that the rear passenger door and side quarter have been resprayed very badly, I found some crazing of the paint and evidence of a poor job on the inside of the wheel arch.

As it is a fault with the paint do I have recourse under the SOGA ?

I was going to post a photo of the car to introduce myself but really am not feeling the love for this POS now

That is truely shocking. How did they hide it when you looked round the car?
I would have thought you could give it back if it's within 30 days. Have a quick look throught the c6 rs6 forum as someone had issue's with his car.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
