I would be careful suggesting that when it comes off a cab. It would be well worth double checking that it definitely fits.

So ive established (thanks to Paul) that my friends Milltek from his RS4 cab will/should fit an Avant - i now need to try and work out if its res or non res - he hasn't got a clue as he bought his RS4 with it already fitted - so how do you tell if its res or non res by looking at the exhaust laid out on the floor?? Is there a way of telling?? It will be obvious if it has the valves or not but just want to establish if its res or not.

No worries, its only thanks to this forum that I know a very small amount about RS4's.

There is a font of knowledge on here so don't be afraid to ask.

If you get a non valved system u have to block the vacuum pipes or it messes with the whole vacuum system in the car which works intake flap not sure the ins and outs but basically the engine holds back a bit and loses power
