How to clean traces of glue from dashboard

Post by pisquano » Sun May 06, 2012 2:07 pm

I just removed a sat nav holder and it's left a square trace which I cannot seem to remove. The actual glue has been taken off, but there's almost a patina very visible where the thing was.
You can't even feel it with your hand at all
Any suggestions?

that;s what we've used when removing glue and sticky bits from kids toys and Stickers etc. I'd give that a go.

How long has the sat nav been there? I hope it's not colour fade (or more specifically, lack of) on the covered patch. If it is, you might need advice from a detailer :|

'goo-gone' is great too.
Most are pretty the same - petroleum based.
