Water Leak

Post by barrybudden » Thu May 03, 2012 5:19 pm

Hi,

I'm new to RS6 ownership, I've been lurking here a while. I bought a car a week or so ago and noticed today that it has started to leak water, I saw a drip coming from the rear of the engine bay but I'm unsure from where exactly. Its not coolant or windscreen washer fluid. I have checked the levels and they are ok.

It'll most likely be your Air/Con having a small pee. It's normal and nothing to worry about. There is a drain on the passangers side near the bulkhead, when it get's blocked you'll find the carpet gets wet and that's when you need to worry as the gearbox brain is down there.

We need to make sure you read the rules.

FON and pictures or it's not real.

Cheers

This thread was his first post, as long as someone gets a FON in first, other members may continue to heap on the FON lovin'.
