What do you think about fitting it ?
I heard about some problems with MAF, is that true?

I had a K&N fitted and did have MAF failure. It was fitted for about 20k miles though before the failure.

Not really worth fitting however because there is not much performance change it any.

When I changed to K&N filter my RS4 got much better respons at low and mid range. You can shift earlier to a higher gear and it feels almost like a new car in day to day use. The car sounds better without any vibrations at any speed or rew.
My car has MTM software and new exhaust system with sport cats. I have not had any problems since I changed to K&N. When you clean the filters don´t put to much oil on then. :D

I thnk people have MAF problems with K&N because they put to much element oil on the filter, which caused the oil to kill the MAF!

I've used a K&N for almost 3 years.... No MAF problems (yet). I am frugal with the oil, and tend to get rid of the excess with kitchen paper.

Thank you all. I think its better to buy K&N filter element for 50euros, than original one for 30euros, and change it every 30K km.
What do u think ?
