After the appaling way they have either been driven or performed over the last month or so yes, They seem to be prone to bad drivers putting them in the tyre wall, or under achieving on the track.
So there you go
the dream is broken
never to be fixed.
Also the ones ive looked at have all been a suspect
Cheers

There are plenty that go well at the ring thoughAfter the appaling way they have either been driven or performed over the last month or so yes, They seem to be prone to bad drivers putting them in the tyre wall, or under achieving on the track.

My mate binned his 993 at the ring a few years back.
Trouble is with rwd cars and especially the porkers, when they go they go, and if your on track rubber your generally at silly speeds.
JR, have you had a decent drive of either the GT3 or a 993RS yet ?
I know a guy with a 993RS that would probably take you for a spin on his next track day. It's not for me to say whether he'd let you drive it obviously, but he is an accomplished driver who visits the ring often, and I'm sure he'd show you what it can do.
Oh, and as a side note, porsche dealers are no better than Audi ones. Steve's RS was in at AFN having a service when he got a call to say it wouldn't be ready to be collected just yet. One of the mechanics took it on a test drive and stuffed it into a roundabout !
Too many toys, not enough time
