I know it's been discussed before, but I just tried some new settings and I like em! - so I thought I'd share (info from AudiWorld) :-
Try settings (see below) of 7438 6444

How to change the equalizer settings on your Symphony Bose Stereo :-
You access the settings by turning off the car, removing the key, then turning on the radio by pressing the volume knob while simultaneously holding down the 5 preset button.
The readout says 55555555 initially. Each digit is a band for either front OR rear speakers.
"ABCD EFGH"
A= low bass front
B= upper bass front
C= lower treble front
D= upper treble front
E= low bass back
F= upper bass back
G= lower treble back
H= upper treble back
The first digit will be blinking. You adjust the blinking digit's setting using the volume knob. To advance to the next digit, press the P scan button. When you're done, turn the radio off then on again to test your settings. Note that this won't work if the car is running... take the key out before changing these settings.

Tried the above eq settings on my Concert and didn't get any response from the '5' preset button. However, if I press the 'On' button whilst holding down either the '1', '2' or '3' presets, I DO get some alphanumerics appearing.
Didn't adjust anything...thought I'd post here first to find out more.... didn't want to bugger anything up. Anyone else tried this?
