My car is Red Rockets old car! I have owned it for just over 2 years now. I did sell it to a really nice, genuine guy from High Wycombe, however I went and test drove an RS5 as a replacement and it really didn't impress me at all. So I un-sold my RS4 and have decided to keep it until there is something out there that is worth replacing it with.
I felt really bad about letting the guy down, but he was very understanding. The B7 RS4 is a very hard act to follow IMO.
The ceramics are amazing by the way. I have done several track days including Spa, Monza and Nurburgring and they have never faded, grumbled or vibrated. I went through about 4 sets of discs on my first steel-disc B7 in the same amount of miles! I have only had to change the pads once, and those were the originals!
I hope that the new RS4 is at least as good as the B7, as that would be my next purchase, but if my impression of the RS5 is anything to go by, Audi need to up their game somewhat.
