AMD did a good job for a great price too. :beerchug:

Holy cr@p

Thats without a ported manifold just a cleaned one and new cats you got 60 more bhp?

What are AMD doing thats different to the other tuners out there?

NB I am comparing the increase not the actual headline numbers as each dyno is different.

When I first bought the car to Doug at MRC for a health check, he said it could do with a clean as it had only done 16,000 in four years, Scaghead and Sonny have used AMD and where happy to recommend them so I thought I would give them a go too as they are much closer than MRC and I was tight for time.

When MRC or Surrey rolling road have a dyno day I will try and pop along and see what gives.

I have been in Sonny's car a few times at its best, its certainly feels as fast as his did and much louder. :biggrin3:

Yeah very good, when a neighbour of mine's teenage daughter won't get out of bed, he ask's me to start the car to wake her up.

it always does the trick.

That's a good increase for not much £'s
If it feels much faster, then that's what why do it
I wonder what they're doing that others are not. Most places (MRC, Dialynx etc) are charging way over £1k for carbon cleaning

Loss leader perhaps? Cover your costs and get customers in for other work? At that price people will be lining up. IIRC MRC are still below 1k for a clean.
