Have a look at this new Sony device OK ignore the Japanese writing and admire the pretty pictures.

3D maps, detachable, plays MP3, hooks up to your PC for map updates over the net onto 30GB hard drive. Top of the range model will also include e-mail and web browsing! All yours now (if you live in Japan) for a mere £1,100.

Navman PiN already here. Pocket PC with built in GPS receiver. £360 if you hunt hard enough. Includes UK and 15 European countries, post code search, 3d maps, voice guidance (male and female)...
