ok will try moving spark plug first, as injector will be an arse to do with fuel rail removal etc etc.
what spark plugs are best for the 6?
unsure when the filter one was done, cant of been that long ago im sure, the car was well looked after by QST.

also is it worth seeing if i can get a air leak test done? anyone localish on here that might have the testing stuff to do it myself?
obviously the air leak doesnt account for the missfire, but might account for the sheer flatness of power. as it seems like the missfire is only at high RPM anyway?

I'd look at getting the misfire sorted first - my money's on the root cause of this being responsible for the flat power response.
Pull and gap the plugs if they're newish - gap should be 0.8mm, or put new plugs in if they're getting on a bit. Running some injector cleaner though is worthwhile too - this stuff is not snake oil & i've seen first hand it cure knock / misfire problems on cars i've been tuning. Forte stuff is great & you can get it online from places like camskill. It's never going to be as good as treating them to an ultrasonic bath / service / flow matching, but its certainly going to be a lot easier to start with

Re: Possible Issue - New Logs Added - Update 25/3/12
cheers for the info sweegie.
i actually have an ultrasonic bath at work, so that wouldnt be too much of an issue, its just the removal and refit of it , but will have a look at it tonight when i take the airbok off to inspect the plug.
the plugs are not new, and im currently unsure what they are in there, but QST would of done them under in the the last 2 years im sure.
power feeling flat is all the way through the rev range, not just high end where the missfire only seems to appears to be according to my logs on page 2 or 3. latest logs dont show what RPM the missfire is at.
supose i could just log CYC 7, and engine loads, speeds etc etc to get a better idea.

This car is sensitive to plug condition. Put some NGK PFR7Q in. Anything else and you are playing with fire.

Ok will order some if that's not what's in there.
Would of been of been QST that installed them, so would imagine the are the ones you've mentioned

Right plugs from cylinder 6 & 7 out.
There are genuine Audi NGK PFR7Q as suspected
Both plugs quite sooted other than that there fine, cyc 7 one is slightly red around the spline of the plug. Unsure why that would be or mean

I've seen bright red plugs when using tesco99 or v-bastard, so not something I'd necessarily worry about. They are pretty sooty though! Anything out the ordinary on your long term fuel trims?
You got a set of feeler gauges to gap them? I'd be interested to find out if number 7 is over 0.8mm.

Ok good to know about colouring.
Dont have feeling gauges here, can take plugs to work tomorrow and check, but visually (I know not exactly precise) they look identical gap wise

That is nasty. No point gapping them. They should NOT be adjusted on these plugs.
They are really coked up. I don't believe they have done less than 20k miles.
Mine looked like this after 20k miles:
