Hahahahahaha :biggrin3:
Sh1t, I just spilt my coffee again

I wonder how much extra the guy's been paying for insurance for 5yrs at RS4 rates when he could've just paid 3.0v6 rates ?

Btw, well done Rosie for manning up and posting the custard pic. That took balls, and I salute you for coming on here, as quite a hostile environment, and doing so

Just a quick 'hats-off' to you all.
Brilliant read!
I was wondering about the B6 RS4...

But, is that a tin from 1964?
Was there even an RS4 in '64 ?

It's just you, the guy is a scumbag.

He argued with me that Cardiff Audi know more about RS4s than I do (extremely unlikely) and that it was such a rare model that even though I've been an Audi owner for 13 years and an RS4 owner for 6 years I wouldn't have known about it.

I hope someone reports him to Trading Standards for misdescription. I've already reported him to Audi UK, reminding them that they have a track record of taking action against people that have misued the "RS4" logo.

Then why was he so rude when it was politely poined out to him that his eBay advert was misleading?

He behaved more like a conman than a victim.

Meanwhile I've looked into the legalities of us posting the correspondence and the manner of posting found in this thread (well I didn't, I asked someone else, nicely).
They said "So let me get this right, you called out their car for not being what it was advertised as? Then they 'followed' you onto a public forum by registering and then defending their car and the reasons for their sale listing containing misinterpretations? And now they're crying because they thought you were 'aggressive'?"
"Yes", I answered. "There's nothing to answer for, stop wasting my time and get out of here, send me a link to the thread and I'll have a laugh."

Right, I'm off to buy some proper custard.
No matter where you go, there you are.

tbh Dave, that makes you look as stupid as a guy trying to sell a B6 A4 3.0 V6 on ebay advertised as a special RS 4 !

Read the first instalment of this thread last night and thought that would be the end of it. Just logged in and read the story so far and have to say this thread has been epic. Kudos to bam-bam for the "Dirk Diggler' quip, almost wet myself laughing when I read that. Absolutely brilliant!
