Hi all

I've just put my B6 S4 in the Classifieds after buying a 2007 RS4 late last year. Ive been a long time lurker on this forum since I discovered the site just after buying the car in October 2007. I always seemed to find any problem I had was already on here so never got round to registering or posting. I found a lot of useful information especially regarding aux rads which I didn't know it had and turned out to be the source of my coolant leaks - unfortunately just after the car went out of warranty!

I have thoroughly enjoyed owning the car and will be sad to see it go but, after 4 years it was time for a change and when a decent RS came up late last year in a private deal I jumped at it. Being December and with a couple of things needing done to the car it wasn't the time to put it on the market so now that I've finally got everything done I wanted to, it's got to go.

Thanks to all who contribute on this forum as it has certainly helped me out many times. I finally got round to registering a week after I bought the RS as it developed a problem with the drivers door which I couldn't find anything on. Turned out to be pretty unusual and cost me £750 - more on the story to come on the RS4 forum when I find enough time to write it!

I think it's great that you found the posts useful - I have as well - it's so fantastic when you get a question answered.
Hope you have a great time with the RS4.
I'm taking my S4 Cab to Le Mans this year - so i'll be enjoying every mile with a smile

Sold the S4 at the weekend. Had 1 guy look at it a couple of times the previous week but turned down his offer as wasn't quite what I was hoping for. Got another enquiry on Friday from a guy on Lewis. He arranged for a mate to look at it on Saturday and an hour later he made an offer over the phone which was enough for me to say yes. He came and picked it up last night after flying to Inverness, getting the train to Aberdeen and me picking him up at the station. Examined the car himself, then took it for a spin and he was delighted to part with the cash. Phone call to his wife and 10mins later the money was in my account - the wonders of internet banking!

I also brought this site to his attention so hopefully he'll get as much from it as I have. He's already been looking so if he reads this - hope you enjoy the car Stuart!
