The carbon build up in my r8 got alot worse today!

Post by iR8V10 » Fri Mar 09, 2012 7:27 pm

From the factory it had carbon interior trim and sideblades.

I then added oem mirror casings a few month ago.

Then today, I've gone the full hog and got the oem engine trim peices and door sills! :thumb:

Live it soooo much! Think I've got carbonitis!

Hi All, first post here!

Just bought a 08 Phantom black 4.2, 5500 miles, nice spec to!
Nice carbon you have there, are there many aftermarket suppliers or is it all OEM?

There are a couple of aftermarket options like ma carbon.

I'm always dubious that it won't match the oem perfectly and I'm picky!

For example look at how the weave all goes in the perfect directions on the various bits of the engine trims. On some I've seen, it goes and bends all over the place.

I buy quite a lot of carbon for my motorcycles, you generally get what you pay for, weaves running all over the place is not what carbon is about
