yep disapointed the never managed to shoehorn the 4ltr twin turbo in there as merc and bmw seem to be going the turbo route

I don't even think the S6 will need to be mapped... may be down on ultimate power but on the road you can't argue with a shed load of low down torque from the turbos. Sure under the right conditions the RS4 will be faster but as we've found with the recent supercharged S4 the difference isn't as big as you'd think esp at road speeds.

But im not in the market nor interested in a big old S6 or S8 nor most other current RS4 owners im sure,theres plenty of gear out there with a decent engine but poor handling boring looks.

Im also dissapointed at lack of real forward progression in the engine and performance department,but nothing has really improved performance wise since the b5 RS4 its other areas such as dynamics and interior etc etcive effectively driven the new RS4 if what there saying is true when i drove the RS5 some weeks ago

Also I will not remap a new £60k+ car now that dealers can identify map and void warranty

But it'll sound better. And NA just feels more...sporty on windy roads etc with stellar throttle response.

Revisiting the subject of the wheels, I knew they reminded me of a set from another manufacturr and then it dawned on me sitting in a queue of traffic this morning. They look very much like the new BMW style and those optionals on the VXR8 (albeit with thinner spokes on the Audi), noen of which I like.

Love the headlights, awesome interior, like the wheels, perplexed about the Sportmaxxx tyres, don't like the 'chrome' honeycomb front grill. Other than that I think it looks mostly plain. Looking forward other colours too.

They are 20s (265/30/20).

Looks loads better with the lower parts of the spoiler body coloured. Daytona is going to look fantastic with optics amd titanium alloys.

I agree. It's tricky to assess the depth of the curves/blisters without a bit more depth/contrast/range/whatever to the red used.

Vaguely related: I've spent the last few days motoring about in a B8 Avant TDI and it felt HUGE compared to my B7. There's a lot more dash, window and bonnet in front of me. I never thought my RS4 would feel petite!
