yeah can you not strap it up with something to hold the leak?

if it's the rubber perishing then the problem would only get worse however I'd tend to agree that engine out for it is a bit extreme.

I do lol some times , I had the same problem on my c5 rs6 ..

No other way than engine out to to the way it's routed behind the heat shield .

The engine will need to be dropped on a platform not a engine hoist..
