vagcom doesn't connect - now fixed

Post by KayGee » Sat May 08, 2004 2:00 pm

Help!

Just bought vagcom but it doesn't seem to talk to my car (all modules remain greyed out).

It talks to the cable OK, activates and passes the test operation.

Any ideas?

Hhmm I'm thinking of buying the Macfee firewall. How do you get round the problem of it interfering with VAGCOM?

Enable learn mode, start VAGcom, Setup your com port, save and close. Turn of learn mode. Start VAGcom and it all worked from there on in.
